Less Robby the Robot and more Maria from Metropolis. This is a reboot I support.
Me too!

This has been their MO for the past few boost, just this one is easier for us to guess the context fully.Confound their devious marketing shenanigans!
I love the looks of these!!
Oh, how curious? Maybe they will have some robust non-Greyhawk suggestions or support after all.I love the looks of these!!
Also, aren't those displacer beasts next to the title one of the Eberron house logos?
EDIT: Looks like House Thuranni!
This is one of the reasons I love this forum, so much knowledge of TTRPG history! Those are the training robots from near the end. A Boxer/Wrestler, a Fencer, and Martial Artist.
I hope so! I can also see the marketing team needing cool-looking filler art, and just using something they already have on hand, too. I hope you are correct, however! Would be nice to see!Oh, how curious? Maybe they will have some robust non-Greyhawk suggestions or support after all.
Planescape was 2e. The great wheel was 1e, with one of the great 1e art pictures being A Paladin in Hell. Gamma World and Boot Hill were alternate prime material planes, and so weren't really planar adventures at all. These are all pre-Planescape. At the time of publication a planar adventure was hopping over to Gamma World or Boot Hill, not galivanting around the Great Wheel cosmology. Much more like the Marvel multiverse that is familiar to modern D&D players.
