One thing about the Weaver is that weaving is a civizilized human(oid) activity, especially given your allusions to the weaving being of a tapestry of fate. Spiders weave webs to capture prey, a very different purpose. Some birds weave nests for yet another purpose. (To say caterpillars weave cocoons is a bit of a stretch, but there's still one more.)
The Flower can't really be a progenitor of humans, right? She was a human who ascended to godhood. Maybe she adopted them as her own, but she couldn't have created them given current mythology. Not that myth ≠ truth....
