I love the fluidity of the image and the colour palette. I also like the serene expression on Lolth's face while wrapping up some poor victim. It's unsettling. I'm not an artist (like at all!) but the image, the colour and the gold scrolling in the corners all tie together beautifully.

Annoying players are going to annoy. Ban the bard class, and they'll shift their irritating traits to a different class. 🙄 Fortunately, I don't have to deal with these kinds of players. Our gnomes and bards are just fine.

My next character is definitely going to be a gnome bard who specializes in making Ham and Pineapple pizza.

I find that too many rules and subsystems bog a game down to the point that versimiltude, that all those rules are trying to support in the first place, gets lost.

Me too. I'm loving my 100 page smaller size Black Sword Hack, while at the same time having a blast with Old Gods and the extra bits from the KS.
